This kitchen remodel project was started by another contractor and we took over soon after construction had begun. Originally the kitchen was very closed off with the exception of an odd pass-thru. The plan called for a doorway to be made between the dining room and kitchen to help with traffic flow, and for the pass-thru to be closed in , enabling more storage to be added. The existing tile floor was to be kept and special effort was made to protect it throughout the process. . We started with removing the existing cabinets. Once they were removed, we updated the plumbing and electrical to accommodate the fixtures new locations. Drywall was then completed and the cabinets and trim were installed. Counters, tile back splash, and a little paint finished off the space.
